Nicole originates from Southern California. She started following gluten free diet in 2015 and then turned to keto at the end of 2017. Although she enjoyed the results of Keto, she hated how long it would take to prepare keto recipes and having to track food and align macros. Thus enters the carnivore diet.
First being exposed to the carnivore diet in 2017 while listening to Joe Rogan’s podcast who had a special guest, Shawn Baker. Shawn was essentially paving the way for carnivores and known to be seen as the “god father” of carnivore. After following Shawn Baker and others like Mikhaila Peterson (Lion Diet), Nicole realized that their experiences (and others) they were sharing about symptoms and pain being relieved was something that she had been searching for. Carnivore was a more simple way of eating, not having to track food and was improving people’s health. Nicole read up on the literature on Carnivore and decided to ditch the complicated tracking of Keto and go all in on Carnivore in April 2020. Within 2 months, she had lost 20 lbs and the pain in her back and knee as well as some other symptoms including her ongoing stomach issues had all been alleviated.
The purpose of this newsletter is to share with the world her healing journey (both physical & mental), share relevant information, and make sure people feel informed about important topics. It is really meant to be a safe place where NOTHING is off limits to talk about. Nicole is hoping to open up the conversation and give people a voice to talk about the not so “fun”/hard to hear topics that aren’t typically covered in this “health” world. Nicole does believe that regenerative farming, eating a high protein diet, and living a low toxicity life is the future we all need. Let’s see what happens!
